About Startrite Christian College

Startrite Christian College (STARCCO) is owned by Prof. Peter Quartey of the University of Ghana and Mrs. Alice Quartey of Startrite Montessori School. STARCCO is a prominent part of an educational complex which started operation in September 2007 as Startrite Montessori School. Since then Startrite Montessori has grown to become a well-known brand (GES Accredited Grade A School) that offers formal education from crèche to Junior High School (JHS).

The College, which started in September 2018 is a well-endowed school in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. It is accredited by the Ghana Education Service (GES) and Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) to offer pre tertiary education based on GES and (CIE) respectively.

Our focus is on teaching and learning with an aim of equipping pupils/students with qualification and skills needed to uncover all of life’s potentials. Our modern science and computer laboratories, e-learning facilities and audio visual labs to help our students experience positive and practical learning outcomes. We also develop the soft skills of our students.

We can say with confidence that our serene learning environment, dedicated teachers, highly motivated students, small class sizes, world class facilities as well as professional guidance and counselling sessions have yielded excellent exam results both at GCSE and A-Levels. Almost all our leavers have gone to their first-choice universities after completion.

Our excellent boarding facilities coupled with strong moral training make our students build a strong character for life. The use of world class interactive teaching methods means our students are versatile and can adapt easily to new environments.
